Sunrise in Santa Pola

Got up early to see the sunrise in Santa Pola with a friend. Only to find out that the sun rises from the opposite side as the water. Guess we will have to come back another day and watch the sunset to see it on the water. :)

Rochelle and I

Having a great time with Rochelle visiting. She really likes the sun, me too. She spent her first day in Madrid on her own, well sort of, I hooked her up with a friend of mine that knows some english and she and her friends had a good time. It is really nice to have her here visiting. I will really miss her when she leaves.

Santa Pola lookout

So, José led me up this small hillside and told me not to look until we were at just the right moment. It was breathtaking. It made me feel on top of the world.









That is until the paragliders flew over above us. ;)

It was a beautiful day. You can see the Island of Tabarca in the background. It is said to have a lot of Pirate history. We haven't been there yet. José has suggested we go when Rochelle gets here. She will come to visit me June 3rd. I am getting very excited.

Santa Pola coast

It was a great Sunday. Went to Church this morning. Came home and had a friend come over for lunch his name is Antonio (available if anyone is interested :) ). Talked to Jessica. Just got back from the coast with José and Toni. They went for a swim and I enjoyed the sun. For most of Spain today ended summer vacations. School begins tomorrow. :)
