"And she shall bring forth a son, And thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins." Matt 1:21

The manger

and let us not forget the humble bed that the Christ child was placed in.

Nativity with Mary

"...And the virgin's name was Mary. And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou amoung women." Luke 1:27,28

The wise men

"...behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, saying, where is he that is born King of teh Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him." Matt 2:1-2

Shepherds

"And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: adn they were sore afraid.  And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people." Luke 2:8-10

Camel

And a nativity isn't complete without a camel.
