France trip day 1

The trip begins in the Great Pyrenees, next the France border, a glimpse at the rest stops along the way that we commonly had lunch at, and finally the very common french toillette.

Strange trees are all about Spain, just waiting for discovery.

Saw this tree when we were were out and about yesterday. At first I thought it was growing the little mini pears, but at closer exam, they are a little differant. I couldn't tell you if they are edible or not. Just interesting.

A bowl full of cherries and pears oh my....

So is this an optical illusion?? Are the cherries the size of pears or the pears the size of cherries?
It's just a spanish thing. ; )

The Alhambra at night.

The first picture was taken about 8,30 at night and the second one an hour later. What a hike we had to make to get to a high spot to take this shot. I think we went up about 500 stairs.

Beautiful Granada

Had a great time taking Rochelle to the Alhambra in Granada. What a beautiful old city with a lot of history.

Sunset

Rochelle caught a great shot of the sun going down as we came home from La Marina.

Castle Villena

A nice visit with Rochelle to the Castle Villena and she took a great shot of the all famous Bull billboard which stands all over the country of Spain. Also, she captured a good shot of the tower of the castle with it's battle wounds where cannon balls had struck it. Having a great time with Rochelle, I will be sad when she leaves.
